Alabama's congressional districts are incredibly gerrymandered. In 2023, the US Supreme Court ruled in Allen v. Milligan that Alabama’s 2021 congressional map illegally diluted the voting power of Black Alabamians. As a result, the lines for District 6 have been redrawn.
